Description

The 57th Filmfare Awards was held on January 29, 2012 at, Mumbai honoring the best film of 2011 from Bollywood. The award show was hosted by Shahrukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor. The nominees for the awards were announced on January 11, 2012. Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara received maximum number of nominations with 13 nominations followed by Rockstar with nine nominations and Delhi Belly with seven nominations. Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara went on to win seven awards and equaled 2011 film Udaan. The 57th Filmfare awards were premiered on February 19, 2012 for public viewing. Ranbir Kapoor won best actor and best actor (critic) for his performance in Rockstar and Vidya Balan won her fourth Filmfare award for best actress in The Dirty Picture.
