Description

The serial Bairi Piya shows the exploitation of the downtrodden at the hands of the rich money lenders. Millions of women fall prey to manipulating men because of their social condition and poverty. They take advantage of them due to their vulnerability. The poor sections of the society are facing a lot of problems at the hands of wealthy landlords. They give them loans on high interests so that they remain servile and bound to them fulfilling their greedy desires and undue demands. The rural India has extreme cases and the harsh realities are shown on the television for the very first time by Balaji films. Some farmers are so frustrated because they are unable to pay back their loans, that they commit suicide. The loans are settled on conditions which make pay back highly difficult. The poor farmers being unable to pay the loan are humiliated and insulted. They are even made to do menial jobs and are constantly harassed at the hands of their masters. Bairi Piya as a show tells it all. Women of the household have to bear the brunt usually although the do not deserve such treatment and are not worthy of it. The show is a must-see.
