It was an Indian reality TV program. It was aired on Sony Entertainment Television. The Big Boss Season 1 was launched in the year 2006. It went on for a total of 86 years. In this program members of the general public are not taken in as part of the show. Bollywood celebrities and TV actors and other such personalities are brought in on this Indian version of Big Brother. The contestants who take part in the show are bound to live in a purpose-built house. They are isolated from the rest of the world. No contact with the outer world can be made. Two of the peers are voted each week to be evicted. The final week had only three housemates left and the winner was voted out of these.
