The second season of Indian reality television show was aired on the Colors TV. It was aired in the year 2008. Arshad Wasti was replaced by Shilpa Shetty as the host of the show. The hand-picked housemates were termed as newsmakers rather than celebrities. They spent 14 weeks under one roof under the supervision of 32 cameras. The Big Boss house this time was at Lonawala, which is a hill station not far from Mumbai. A popular housemate Rahul Mahajan voluntarily made an exit out of the Big Boss house and the show’s ratings topped charts because of this reason. Jade Goody, one of the contestants was learnt to have developed cancer and had to walk out of the house. Big Boss Season 2 was quite interesting.
