Description

Center Stage is an American drama film, directed by Nicholas Hytner. The writer of this film is Carol Heikkinen and stars are Amanda Schull, Ethan Stiefel and Sascha Radetsky. It is about a group of young dancers from various backgrounds where they enroll at the fictitious American Ballet Academy in New York City. The film explores the issues and difficulties in the world of professional dance and how each individual copes with the stresses in their life. All the young dancers work hard, attending classes every day for weeks to make them the best dancers and in preparations for a final dance workshop where it will determine the boys and girls who will be asked to join the American Ballet in that. The workshop will also provide an opportunity for the all students to showcase their talent to other ballet companies across the country as well.
