The comedy show started to be aired on Sony TV. Comedy Circus 2 started airing in the year 2008. This time round the stage was highly competitive. There were a bunch of some very fine professional stand-up comedians as well as some popular television actors. Eliminations were decided on the basis of the scores of the judges and that of the live studio audience. Shruti Seth hosted the show this time too. The panel of judges included Archana Puran Singh and Satish Shah. Joining in was the popular Shekhar Suman. The creative team included Dharampal Thakur, Bharat Kukreti, Inaamulhaq and Dheeraj.
