Description

Star Plus channel broadcasts the Indian television program, Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan. The Hindu king of medieval Indian history is potrayed in this serial. The early life of the king, his exploits as a military leader and his love for the princess Sanyogita is potrayed all through the series. He is to sit as the last ruler of Chauhan Dynasty. He is the son of Someshwar Chauhan, who is the king of Ajmer. The father dies in a battle only when Prithviraj Chauhan is at the tender age of thirteen. He succeeds to the throne of Ajmer due to his proficiency in military skills. Due to his courage and valor his maternal grandfather declares him his heir as a ruler of Delhi. He falls in love with the princess Sanyogita, the daughter of his enemy Jaichand. Sanyogita’s father chooses a man for his daughter’s hand to be given in marriage out of eligible suitors. Prithviraj Chauhan abducts Sanyogita from her Swayamwara the day her father does so. Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan has a teenage cast, adult cast and a number of guest appearances too.
