“Ek Ladki Anjaani Si” is an Indian television serial that went on air in Sony Entertainment Television in November 21, 2005 and ran till September 12, 2007. The story is an adaptation of popular Venezuelan serial Juana la Virgen. The story is of a teenager girl, Anu who belongs to a middle class family but sees vision of being a journalist. Her poor mother tries her best to give her support. Finally, luch favors Anu when she wins a scholarship to study journalism in America. Again her luck takes twist when she found herself pregnant due to the mistake of nurse who mixed up her file to another woman’s file during IVF sample testing. This serial’s duration is 22 minutes of each episode, directed by Arvind Gupta and star casts are Kanchi Kaul as Anu, Shakti Anand as Nikhil Samarth, Cezanne Khan as Dr. Dhruv and Nigaar Z.Khan as Laila(Antagonist).
