Everyday Italian
A lifestyle show featuring Italian dished with an American flair, Everyday Italian was launched in Lifestyle Network with Italian chef Giada De Laurentiis as the host. The show is usually about her parties and get-togethers with her family and friends, and then she shows her menu, the ingredients that she will use, and the procedures on how she cooks the meals. At the end of each episode, she will present them the food and explains how she prepared it. The show usually invites her family members like her husband, fashion designer Todd Thompson. Her mother, brother, sister and aunt also appeared in several episodes. Her Aunt Raffy is featured most as she contributes on some of the dishes that she cooks. They come up with authentic Italian dishes and they modify it with a few ingredients to make it a bit American, such as Chicken Stuffing and Turkey Tonnato. The show ended in February 2008, The show also received the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lifestyle Program in 2008, with Giada as Best Lifestyle Host.
