Description

A girl from Rashipur in Kutch, Gulaal is a story about her as being a very lively and energetic. She bears this unique gift of finding water in the driest of deserts. Talsagra, a nearby village faces a rough drought. This drought lasts for a long time and there seems to be no end to the ordeal of the villagers. Vasantji who is from Talsagra comes to know of this unique gift of Gulaal and takes on himself to find this positive minded girl wherever she is. Vasantji wants the ordeal of his village to end so that people could get satisfied and their problems get sorted. When Vasantji finally finds Gulaal, he wants her to go with him to get the problem of his fellow villagers fixed. Gulaal agrees to go with him against the will of her entire village. In the meantime, Gulaal and Vasantji start loving each other and their love blossoms. Soon they get married. Gulaal becomes the key to ending the two arch rival villages years of enmity and brings happiness to the lives of hundreds of people by solving their problems. A lot of problems come her way after this but she faces them with great confidence and wisdom.
