Description

Based on the life of Rani Lakshmi Bai of Jhansi, who is one of the leading figures of the Central Indian rebellion of 1858, Jhansi Ki Rani is a television series that begins with a story of a 14 year old girl who plays the younger version of Rani Lakshmi Bai when she gets married to Maharaj Ganghadar Rao. She becomes a major threat to the British Officials as she despises the rule of the British over India. As such, the series is about the childhood of Rani as she becomes Queen and till she dies. Jhansi Ki Rani is the most awarded television show in India as well as the most watched Indian historical show that signifies its popularity.
