Description

If Kumkum is considered as a word then it means reddish powder to marry or to pray in the alter by hindu people. But it’s about the serial “Kumkum” which is meant to have a lovely relationship. The drama serial went on air on Star Plus in July 15, 2002 and ended in March 13, 2009. This show was telecasted at 1.00 pm Indian Time from Monday to Friday. Being a daily soap, some of its title tracks became so popular which even surpassed some other films tracks in terms of popularity. This show is ranked 4th place in all times list of Star Plus shows. The story is besieged of Wadhwa family and its daughter-in-law, Kumkum. In earlier episode it’s shown that Kumkum was and her husband Sumit killed himself. Then, they get rebirth to new places and latterly, met each other and hatred is living for in their souls. It’s an epic story with lots of twists to make sure it runs to 1450 episodes. Produced by Anuradha Prashad, running time of each episode is approximately 24 minutes. In the leading roles the casts are Juhi Parmar as Kumkum Wadhwa, Hussain Kuwajerwala as Sumit Wadhawa, Anuj Saxena as Jatin Wadhwa and Arun Bali as Harshwardan Wadhwa.
