Description

Masterchef Australia Season 3 continues the legacy of giving an opportunity to aspiring cooks to showcase their talents, and chef hosts Gary Mehigan and George Calombaris returns as well. From 50 contestants, they were narrowed down to 24 for the show proper. Contestants’ come from a wide-range of backgrounds, from an accountant to a scuba diving instructor to a general manager to even a fighter pilot.

This season they added offsite challenges and team challenges that showcase battles between the male and female contestants. However, they took out the concept of eliminated contestants returning for a second chance this season. Immunity challenge is also modified; contestants have to face-off not just with celebrity cooks and chefs but also go against apprentices and regular cooks. Kate Bracks’ Balmain Bug and Crab Remoulade Salad, Sherry-Glazed Quail with Roast Garlic Custard, Asparagus Duxelle and Hazelnuts, and the famous “Snowman” dessert made her
