The title itself suggests that this drama ‘Navya’ is about something new as the Hindi word navya means new. This drama genre is of a young girl, Navya who would like to have a boyfriend but can’t escape social barriers. Finally, she gets a boyfriend who though being modern yet believes in traditional norms. The serial Navya develops how this couple maintains their relationship under traditional values. This serial went on air on April 04, 2011 in Star Plus. Written by Anantika Shahir, Directed by Ravi Bhushan and Jeetu Arora, this show runs 24 minutes each day of its telecating. Soumya Seth leading the role of Navya and some other important characters like Neeta Mishra, Renuka, Anant Bajpai are respectably acted by Kshitee Jog, Shruti Sharma, Shaheer Sheikh.
