It is a reality show which is aired on Imagine TV. It started in the year 2009. It is hosted by Bollywood actor Ram Kapoor. Rakhi ka Swayamwar was filmed at Fateh Garh Palace. The final episode was aired in August 2009. Rakhi Sawant selected Elesh Parujanwala from among the three finalists as her future bridegroom. He is a businessman based in Toronto. The got engaged on the show by exchanging garlands and rings. The couple had to marry immediately but the wedding ceremony has been postpones for an indefinite period of time. An FIR was also lodged against Rakhi for stealing the idea behind another such reality show. Rahul Mahajan was featured next in the second season of the reality show. The second season is called Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega. In this the groom had to look for a bride. The season concluded where he wed Dimpy Ganguly. The show is really exciting and fun to watch.
