Description
The serial “Sasural Genda Phool” belongs to romantic comedy drama genre. This serial was premiered on March 1, 2010 and still goes on air from Monday to Friday at 7.30 pm Indian Time on Star Plus. Just like the movie Delhi 6, this serial is also of colorful alleys of Old Delhi. The presentation of Old Delhi is certainly aesthetic. Again it’s a remake of a popular Bengali serial “Ogo Bondhu Shundori” that airs on Star Jalsha. Even the title and the theme song are taken from the movie Delhi 6. The story is on two opposite people named Ishaan and Suhana who fall in love with each other living in Delhi. Suhana is the daughter of Kamal Kumar Bajpai who is lovely and spirited. Ishaan on the other hand, is gentle, good natured IT professional. Later they wed under family decision. The story then progresses with the complication that whether one loves one or not. Duration of 25 minutes, this serial is produced by Ravi Ojha. The star casts are Ragini Khanna as Suhana, Joy Soni as Ishaan, Mahesh Thakur as Kamal Kumar Bajpai and Tapeshwari Sharma as Sanjana Bajpai.
